MAIN AWARD IS SATISFACTION OF FINISHING ONE OF HARDEST ULTRA EVENTS IN NORTH AMERICA/THE WORLD.
Unique Finisher Trophy designed by Alaskan Artist Pierre Ostor, construction by Aviation Engineering Legend Gregg Pattison:
Special!! Anyone finishing Arrowhead 135 3 years/3 Disciplines bike/run/ski eligible for unique “Arrowhead a’Trois Award. Only 22 ever issued.
A new special category of ‘unsupported’ was added in 2017. This category spans all three disciplines (bike, foot, and ski) and requires competitors to receive no support at checkpoints during the race. They must carry all provisions or melt snow for water. The results pages now include this special ‘unsupported’ designation column.
“Ernest Shackleton Endurance” Award recognizing the racer (must be official finisher) who remains on the course, making forward progress for the longest period of time.
